Merry-Go-Round Christmas Bunting featured in Bespoke Magazine

I was lucky enough to have my Christmas Bunting featured in the latest issue of Bespoke Magazine.
It's always great when you get an email request for an image for a magazine but to see it in print is a thrill!
My bunting was featured in 'the best handmade products to wear, decorate with and gift this holiday season'.

Well, its getting very close to to Christmas, I can't really believe it!
Where has the year gone???
I guess it goes quick when you are busy, for me it's family life & crafting.

Just thought I'd mention there is a large range of Christmas Bunting in my stores.

I love Christmas, its my favorite time of the year.
I love getting together with friends & family - and a glass of Champagne!

Actually I can not wait to put the tree up, the decorations and of coarse my Christmas Bunting!

Vintage fabric & Doily Wedding / Garden Party Bunting - a new style.

For quite some time I've been meaning to create a Doily bunting.
I did not want to create a bunting that was only doilies, so many of these around so I decided the new design had to be 'teamed up' with the traditional triangle fabric flag.

I've been collecting Doilies for many years, I have a huge container of them & too many large doilies, hence the reason for this new design.
I'm happy with the result, Its a little different to what other people are doing with their doily buntings yet its an extension of the type of doily bunting I do.

I've created a bunting that is 4.5m - over 14 feet in total length, light coloured floral flags & white / off white doilies, no two doilies are the same on the one bunting.

Perfect for a Wedding. Decorate a wedding venue or use as a photography prop for a Wedding.
Ideal for a Party, Birthday Present, hosting a Baby Shower, Photography Prop, Market Stall or just Decorating a room.
Would look very pretty at your next Garden Party / BBQ!
In fact any excuse will do!

Holly Hobbie girls Aprons using all vintage fabrics - Vintage Playground Showcase 1st Sept

My Holly Hobbie girls Aprons have been completed for a few weeks now and just recently been uploaded to the Vintage Playground Facebook Page.

Recently I mentioned my Holly Hobbie Vintage flag bunting was made & posted to the Vintage Playground Facebook Page.
So now I have two items in the showcase - using different HH fabric.

This time around I was looking for something 'different to make for the showcase yet not too different to what I currently make & sell in my handmade online stores, Madeit & Etsy.

I have plenty of the HH fabric and I thought of doing these aprons many months ago but as usual I was not to motivated to make them until I heard about the Vintage Playground Facebook Page.

I have to say, making these aprons are VERY time consuming. They will not become regular items in my stores. They are all One Of A Kind.
I have made five Holly Hobbie vintage aprons, each with a different HH front 'panel'.
I'm pleased with the result. I'm loving the bright & cheerful contrasting colours of the vintage floral fabrics used. They all have a little white lace apron front which looks rather sweet.
Best fit is girls: 6 - 9 years old, approx.

I have decided to only showcase two of these aprons, the other three will either be sold on my FB page or in my stores.
