Australian Linen Tea Towel Bunting - Celebrating Australia

I've been going to make Australian Linen Tea Towel bunting since I saw the television show, 'The Great Australian Bake Off' in 2013.
I made my first Australian linen tea towel bunting in 2016 - yes, like most crafters, it takes awhile to get around to doing the things we want to make.

The first one was custom bunting for a friend at Leo's Print Pad.
This bunting was a mixture of Australian wildflower linen & plain cotton flags, a Christmas inspired bunting that was used for Christmas Day celebrations.

I have made a few more over the years, this year - 2021,  I have made more, some the new designs include Australian Wildlife such as animals & birds.

Total length is 2.90m (290cm, end to end) / about 9.5 feet approx.

80 stalls held over two venues along Gamon Street, Seddon at the usual location – the Seddon Uniting Church, as well as at the Harris Reserve - just a short stroll away.

Each market is carefully curated to make sure we highlight and showcase our diverse range of talented makers that work so hard to craft their unique pieces – ranging from jewellery, accessories, homeware, textiles, art, natural skin and body care to kids wear and toys as well as delicious food and freshly brewed coffee and cider!

Yes, it is getting to that time of year.
Again I'm stunned to think Christmas really is around the corner!
Well, I'm not going to complain, it is one of my favourite times of the year, having a young family makes it rather enjoyable. I love the look on my girls faces Christmas morning.

I love Christmas traditions.
Putting up the tree, sending greeting cards, gatherings of friends & family, etc.
And........ I always have my Christmas Bunting up!

This year I have some designs that are favourites with buyers that have been done a few years running & some new designs. I'll continue to make more in the next month or two.

Well, its getting very close to to Christmas, I can't really believe it!
Where has the year gone???
I guess it goes quick when you are busy, for me it's family life & crafting.
