Held on the first Saturday of every month, The Substation Artists’ Market regularly features over forty stalls of local and regional artists selling and demonstrating their work. From handmade jewellery, clothes, face painting, cards, photography, oil paintings, knick-knacks and curios.
The Market is the ideal place to find that special gift for those hard-to-please people. The Substation Artists’ Market also features a café and is building a reputation as a place to come and enjoy fantastic live music provided by local musicians.
The Substation's Artists' Market regularly attracts over 600 people on the first Saturday of each month.
It provides a fantastic opportunity for
local artists and makers to sell their wares, as well as being a
destination for both local shoppers,and visitors, who drop in to wander
amongst the stalls, enjoy the music and great food, while at the same
time picking up a unique bargain or two!
